Intermountain Infrastructure Group (IIG) is proud to announce the activation of our newly completed network between Sheridan, Wyoming and Denver, Colorado—a significant milestone extending IIG’s reach deeper into the Rocky Mountain region and strengthening connectivity across one of the West’s most strategically important corridors.

Spanning challenging terrain from the Powder River Basin through the Colorado Front Range, this network delivers a new long-haul connectivity corridor linking Wyoming’s energy and industrial heartland to one of the nation’s premier technology and enterprise hubs. The route provides additional path diversity and scalable capacity for carriers, hyperscalers, enterprises, and public sector networks across the region.

Engineered for both scale and resiliency, the system’s design supports immediate capacity deployments up to 400Gbps. The route further enhances network reliability by introducing additional long-haul options across a corridor experiencing rapidly increasing demand for high-capacity digital infrastructure—driven by data center expansion, AI workloads, and growing enterprise connectivity needs along the Front Range and from various locations across IIG’s Northern Tier network.

With the Sheridan–Denver segment now live, IIG continues to advance its mission of building and operating carrier-grade fiber infrastructure that supports the next generation of digital connectivity throughout the Mountain West.
