High Capacity on the High Plains
Intermountain Infrastructure Group is proud to announce the successful completion of our new network system connecting Billings and Forsyth, Montana.
This 215-mile segment crosses some of the region’s most varied terrain — from rolling badlands and river breaks to long open stretches of high plains. Engineering and constructing resilient infrastructure across these landscapes required precision planning, strong partnerships, and exceptional field execution.
This new span delivers:
- Greater route diversity and resiliency for customers demanding very high capacity
- Enhanced capacity and long-term scalability through a multi-conduit architecture
- Improved performance and reliability across Eastern Montana
- Expanded access to high-quality long-haul fiber infrastructure for communities and businesses along the corridor
This milestone supports our mission to build a next-generation, long-haul and middle-mile network that fuels economic growth, accelerates digital transformation, and brings durable, future-proof connectivity to the Mountain West.
A huge thank-you to our engineering, construction, and field operations teams for making this achievement possible — and to our partners and customers for their continued trust.
More updates coming soon as we continue to expand across Montana and beyond.
