We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Right of Way Agent (“Landman”), who will be will be responsible for managing land rights and agreements for infrastructure projects, conducting land surveys, negotiating with landowners, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will have extensive experience in real estate transactions and land acquisition. Travel is required in the following states: Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and Minnesota and other locations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Land Management, Real Estate or a related field
    • Experience in land acquisition, negotiation, and surveying
    • Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations
  • Technical Skills
    • Knowledge of construction methodologies and industry standards
    • General understanding of fiber optic technology is considered an asset
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage partner/vendor relationships effectively
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex implementation challenges
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a distributed team
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
    • Experience in Project Management, and the ability to multi-task multiple projects at one time
